Strangers No More Is a place of acceptance. Meetings take place at my home.

We meet every Tuesday and Thursday starting at 6 PM for dinner. No cost.
(But, coming in don’t let the dog out!)

People can bring something to share to compliment the meal if they like. Call or Text me at 757-575-2759 if you want to coordinate dishes. You may also Contact Us through the website.

Sharing and Discussion take place formally at 7:30 PM, when we welcome the Zoom audience. The zoom link is available by email at info@strangersnomore.org.

We often have a guest speaker by Zoom, who will introduce a topic for discussion.

Everyone is encouraged to share, and to respond to what others have shared. What is shared of a personal nature is confidential to the group.

Meetings formally end at 8:30 PM, but people often stay afterward to continue sharing.

Strangers No More started on June 30, 2022 to offer an opportunity for people to share and form community. Traditional churches often do not offer the opportunity for people to share.

No one dictates what will happen or preaches here. Instead, all viewpoints are welcome.

Meeting in a home is the best setting for healing to take place. Healing might start for some people just by being invited.

God gives us complete freedom and unlimited potential. It’s the same here. You can make of the relationships whatever you want. Some of us already feel like siblings.

We also have outings. For example, we have gone to two free concerts so far.

Strangers No More is a model taken from the early Christian church, and a model for groups to form in other homes. There is no goal to grow large. We want to keep it small so everyone has a chance to share. What we are doing here may be the church of the future. God knows.

Also, we receive no offering. People contribute to expenses privately from time to time.
